The stick I have is for a PS4 as well as PC according to the specs. So I purchased that as well along with the thrust control that attaches to the joystick. The Hotas 4 was always the one being recommended. Prior to purchasing, a common complaint I read was it not being compatible with other flight sticks. I mean that in DCS, also the target software, and windows controller viewer the sliders are completely backwards and you can’t just check invert to fix. My 3 main axis on the warthog throttle are inverted in every way. Software Windows operating systems supported Warthog Throttle Axis Issues (inverted) I wanted to try this one last time to give a better explanation. Sadly, I rarely play the mode anymore not because I don't like it, but rather because I hate having to spend the time setting up my controls for Sim (which I really enjoy, but fly alone) only to turn around and reset everything for AB/RB (where all of my friends are). (Of course, most Sim players are better than me by leaps and bounds.) Sim can certainly be an extremely frustrating experience, but when the stars are right, the planets align, and you have a great game, very few game-related experiences compare. Yeah, if only I had a nickel for every time I all-of-a-sudden lost a wing to gun(or cannon)fire, screamed like a 6-year-old girl, and proceeded to shout "WTF was that and where the *bleep* did it come from?!?" Some days with my Hotas in a tough dog fight, if someone was watching through a Window, and listening, they would hear unintelligible swear words mixed with prayers to different gods of all religions, all the while doing various Yoga positions that are newly invented with Joystick in hand! However, I do get kills and it is so much fun every time. In fact, before they deleted Death stats, I was Number 1 in the world for deaths in SIM with the second place guy being a chump as he was 3000 deaths behind me. First by testing it in TARGET software, checking each button. Have several and have tried it in A-10, FC, UH-1 and BS2 So, I then verified the stick is completely functional. Based on my quick check, the folder labeled drivers does indeed appear to hold driver files. This folder had an icon file (which looks like my joystick), and a folder labeled drivers. So I went poking around on my hard drive, and found :Program FilesThrustmasterTM Flight Series. But the joystick and throttle dont function in any of the sims. I decided to go try and run down the control panel launcher. I have way more deaths in SIM than I do kills. I just got a Thrustmaster HOTAS, my Christmas gift to myself.
